Pasta Pearls are a great substitute for couscous and orzo (both of which are pasta, by the way) for a delicious change of pace. These little balls are just the right size and shape to raise your favourite recipe to the next level. Use them in soups, stews, salads, side starches, stir-fry and risotto style dishes.
Pasta Pearls, are produced locally in a licensed, inspected facility in Delta, BC and are made from certified organic Canadian milled flours (from mostly Canadian grown grain), utilizing the traditional
production methods of an Italian artisanal Pastaio (Pasta Maker).
They are dried using de-humidification instead of heat,
so that all the enzymes are left intact, which increases their digestibility and nutrition.
